Youth Skill Building Program
Whom We Serve
Our Youth Skill Building Program caters to children in kindergarten through 12th grade with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, mental illness, or brain injury. At SMB, our goal is to equip the people we serve with life skills, help them identify their unique gifts and talents, and arm them with the confidence they need to live a full life.
The Youth Skill Building Program is designed to provide your child with opportunities to grow at home, in the community, and with peers. Your child will work one-on-one with an advisor as they learn the ins-and-outs of life in Rochester. This may include learning how to order food at a restaurant, bake some cookies or use the public library. Our program also features leisure activities and field trips.
